Concept Art for a 2D Character Rig Design

I was inspired by this character from the Scandinavian Vikings. I researched the style of their clothing and armour for this character. I admire their hair styles some of which can be very stylish in today's fashion.

I was trying to make a grumpy and stern character. He is trying very hard to be serious but unfortunately, he falls flat on his face and looks more silly then serious.

Concept Sketch for Constraints Animation

 

A concept sketch for 3D constraints animation. The style I was going for was a Chuck Jones style of animation. Extreme exaggeration and a very snappy style of animating.
